Hi, we are Kristine & Anders Hermstad. Together we run Smøla Kayak, and have been a part of the island since 2013.

We are both certified instructors through the Norwegian Paddle Federation, which ensures that each kayak tour is both safe and educational. Our common goal is to facilitate good experiences in Smøla’s nature for both locals and visitors.

In addition to the kayak business, Kristine has realized her dream of starting a café since she came to Smøla in 2013. The Summer Café is a place where people can enjoy delicious meals in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We are more than just owners of Smøla Kayak and the Summer Café - we are ambassadors for Smøla, and invite everyone to experience the island’s nature and community.
